Functional geometry
Mark mounting interfaces, datums, flange and joint relationships. Define the final state and mating references that govern acceptance.
PARTNER-SUPPORTED MANUFACTURING / SHEET ACCEPTANCE
A cut profile, formed bracket and finished assembly require different checks. Connect the evidence to the delivered state, important datums and actual stock instead of relying on a generic precision claim.
KeepWin coordinates partner-supported review. Exact material, responsible operations, process availability, dimensions, inspection, commercial quantities and timing are confirmed in the project proposal; no universal capability or certification is promised.

Generated sheet geometry concept, not an accepted customer part, measured process result or actual production lot.
01 / ACCEPTANCE PRIORITIES
A visually clean part can still leave important relationships unresolved. Each check should answer a defined assembly or drawing requirement.
Mark mounting interfaces, datums, flange and joint relationships. Define the final state and mating references that govern acceptance.
Specify important edges, visible faces and permitted fabrication traces. Separate a measured surface requirement from a physical appearance comparison.
Request exact grade/thickness identity and any relevant use evidence. A metal-family label or stock image does not establish suitability.
02 / REFERENCE & STATE
Forming, joining and finish can change the accepted relationship. Specify how the part is located and when it is evaluated.
Identify flat, formed and assembly definitions, units and revisions. State which file governs if information differs.
Use a reference tied to function and assembly. A dimension from an unrelated edge may not answer the drawing relationship.
Discuss access and appropriate measurement for the feature. Displayed resolution is not automatically accuracy or a complete uncertainty statement.
Name edge work, forming, joining, treatment or assembly completed before final checks. Earlier-state evidence has a stated scope.
03 / CHECK SCOPE
Different delivery scopes require different quantities and records. No all-feature or all-piece inspection is included by default.
| Scope | Purpose | Agree |
|---|---|---|
| Development sample | Resolve geometry, fit or appearance. | Represented stock/state and open issues. |
| Initial route | Evaluate controlled final configuration. | Features, reports and approval hold point. |
| Lot selection | Assess the agreed delivery. | Quantities, selection and identity. |
| All-piece checks | Inspect named features on stated pieces. | Method, feasibility and evidence. |
04 / SURFACE & ASSEMBLY
Edges, visible traces, joints and mating checks need their own reference and condition.

Supplied stock reference, not material identification or a delivered-part inspection report.
Define burr, sharpness or functional profile requirements. Confirm the included completion and how it is judged.
Map visible faces, texture/color and permitted marks. Agree physical reference and viewing conditions.
Specify mating configuration and any relevant movement, load or contact check. A neat joint does not prove every application property.
Agree how deviations, rework or substitutions are documented and approved. Final delivery identity should remain linked to the accepted configuration.
05 / RECORDS
A report, material record and certification support different claims. Ask what part, condition, operation or entity they actually cover.
| Document | Identify | Limit |
|---|---|---|
| Dimensional record | Part/revision, features, method and state. | Only the agreed sample and feature scope. |
| Material evidence | Grade/thickness and supplied scope. | Not every application or processed condition. |
| Appearance approval | Reference, faces and viewing basis. | Not a generic numerical performance result. |
| Certification | Entity, site, scope and validity. | No universal certification is claimed here. |
06 / QUOTATION EVIDENCE
Inspection and records can change cost and timing. Put the scope alongside stock, route and quantities.
Send final files, datums, important interfaces, grade/thickness, finish/edge map, quantity variants and destination.
State measurement, mating or application checks, selection quantities and records. Confirm availability and exclusions for the offered route.
Ask which evidence, samples, final operations and approvals are included. Capabilities, MOQ, records and schedule require actual confirmation.
07 / QUESTIONS
The reference, final state and coverage must stay visible.
Only within its scope. Important formed or assembled relationships need appropriate final-state evidence.
No default all-piece or all-feature scope is promised. Agree quantities, features, methods and records.
It supports its stated material scope. Application and processed-state requirements may need separate evaluation.
Review its effect on final fits, appearance and earlier evidence before accepting the change.
No. Required methods, equipment suitability and documents must be confirmed for the actual responsible route.
