PARTNER-SUPPORTED MANUFACTURING / POLYMER POWDER

MJF printing. Make powder access part of the geometry.

Review a polymer powder route around the openings, interfaces and delivered surfaces your part needs. Keep exact material, build arrangement, cleanup and any coloring connected to the accepted configuration.

KeepWin coordinates partner-supported review. Exact material, responsible operations, process availability, dimensions, inspection, commercial quantities and timing are confirmed in the project proposal; no universal capability or certification is promised.

01 / ROUTE DECISION

Compare MJF for the delivered polymer part.

A powder-built shape is only one part of the requirement. The route review must include exact material, cleanup, appearance and functional checks.

Assembly prototypes

Mark mating features, movement and fasteners. A fit sample should represent the actual material and finished configuration that will be evaluated.

Functional components

Describe duty, temperature and exposure. Review suitable evidence for the selected powder and process rather than assuming a material family covers all uses.

Repeat quantities

Define the variants and controlled configuration. Compare print, surface work, inspection and packing as one offer, without inferring a universal volume advantage.

02 / INTERNAL ACCESS

Show where unused powder can leave the part.

Enclosed spaces and narrow passages deserve their own sections and review. An exterior model cannot demonstrate that an internal path can be cleaned or verified.

Powder-access relationship. Illustration, not to scale; no measured result or numerical capability is implied.

Passage purpose

Explain whether the internal space is for airflow, fluid, weight reduction or assembly. Each purpose can need a different final-state check.

Geometry sections

Provide cavity sections, openings and the important path. Review proposed changes before accepting added exits or revised channels.

Orientation

Rank functional interfaces and visible areas. Build arrangement is a review item tied to geometry and material, not a universal accuracy promise.

Thin details

Highlight clips, delicate walls and moving clearances. Discuss the offered route and relevant sample rather than borrowing one minimum feature value.

03 / MATERIAL & SURFACE

Name the powder and the finished surface state.

Polymer identity and post-processing matter to both fit and appearance. Compare proposals using the same material and delivered condition.

04 / CLEANUP HANDOFF

Specify what the cleaned part must demonstrate.

Powder removal and surface work must be connected to the use. Do not infer internal condition or final fit from a photograph.

Completion scope

Ask which cleanup and finishing operations are included. Record their responsibility and the state in which sample approval occurs.

Protected interfaces

Mark fits, contacts and holes affected by surface work. Confirm whether masking or another approach is feasible for the offered combination.

Internal acceptance

If residual material or a passage condition matters, define the requirement and ask for an appropriate verification proposal. No method or outcome is assumed.

Change control

A different powder, arrangement or finish can alter the sample basis. Review changes before treating earlier acceptance as approval of repeat parts.

05 / ACCEPTANCE EVIDENCE

Connect the report to the actual configuration.

Dimensions, internal access, appearance and material identity answer different questions. Agree which evidence belongs with the delivery.

06 / QUOTATION BRIEF

Quote the cleanup and final acceptance with the print.

The same model can produce different offers if material, finish or evidence differs. Keep preparation and approval assumptions visible.

Send the complete brief

Include model units and revision, quantity variants, destination, important interfaces, surface map and required evidence.

Ask for the breakdown

Preparation, cleanup, coloring, secondary work, sample checks, reports and packing should be identified where relevant. MOQ and schedule remain project-specific.

07 / QUESTIONS

Before an MJF enquiry.

Use the exact polymer and final condition to define the review.

Is MJF the same as SLS?

They are distinct powder-based routes. Compare exact materials, processing and delivered acceptance rather than treating the names as interchangeable.

Can sealed cavities be left as designed?

Provide the internal geometry for review. Powder access and any verification requirement must be resolved before approval.

Is every nylon formulation available?

No universal stock list is claimed. Exact powder, color, route and evidence availability require confirmation.

Does dyeing preserve every fit?

Review the actual operation and final-state requirement. Important interfaces and protected surfaces must be identified in the scope.

Are all parts inspected?

No default all-piece or all-feature scope is promised. Agree features, quantities, methods and records with the offer.

PREPARE THE NEXT DECISION

Send the internal geometry with the external model.

Include CAD, drawing revision, exact polymer if required, passages and cleanup access, mating fits, surface intent, quantity and destination.
