Assembly and fastening
Show interfaces, screw bosses, locating faces and movement. Define final fit and assembly checks rather than tightening every dimension indiscriminately.
PARTNER-SUPPORTED MANUFACTURING / THERMOPLASTIC PARTS
Choose the resin and tooling route around the interfaces, environment and appearance the finished part needs. Keep proposed wall, release and surface decisions tied to a controlled drawing and sample record.
KeepWin coordinates partner-supported review. Exact material, responsible operations, process availability, dimensions, inspection, commercial quantities and timing are confirmed in the project proposal; no universal capability or certification is promised.

Generated molded-enclosure design study. It does not establish exact resin, final dimensions, production tooling or a verified molded-part result.
01 / PART PURPOSE
A housing, clip and sliding component may need different material evidence and geometry review. Describe the application before comparing broad resin names.
Show interfaces, screw bosses, locating faces and movement. Define final fit and assembly checks rather than tightening every dimension indiscriminately.
State mechanical duty, temperature, liquids or light exposure. Review the exact grade and finished-state evidence for the use.
Map cosmetic faces, color, texture and permitted process marks. Agree an actual physical reference instead of accepting a screen image as the standard.
02 / MOLDABILITY REVIEW
The proposed tool approach should preserve function and make permitted changes visible. No one numerical wall or draft rule is asserted for every grade.
Highlight thick-to-thin transitions, ribs, bosses and long features. Review the actual material, geometry and important interfaces.
Mark undercuts, preferred parting regions and critical surfaces. Confirm the tooling approach and approve any geometry changes.
Identify gate, parting and ejector-mark limits on visible or mating areas. These locations belong in the sample and acceptance discussion.
Provide mating references and relevant datums. State which features control fit and whether later work changes the delivered condition.
03 / RESIN & APPEARANCE
Grade, reinforcement, color and supplied condition can matter to manufacture and acceptance. Control the actual offered material.
| Decision | Specify | Review |
|---|---|---|
| Grade | Exact product or use-based selection requirements. | Offered resin and allowed alternatives. |
| Reinforcement | Whether a filled formulation is required. | Geometry, evidence and processing relevance. |
| Color and texture | Physical reference and visible-area map. | Tool or finishing scope and comparison conditions. |
| Documents | Required identity or application evidence. | Availability for the exact supplied material. |
04 / TOOL & CHANGES
Radii, release features, gates or altered sections may affect appearance and assembly. Record them rather than hiding them behind tooling preparation.

Supplied tooling-storage reference, not proof of a mold for this geometry or universal tool ownership and service life.
Ask for changes to be connected to the controlled files and their functional effect. Agree the approval owner before tooling or repeat release.
Define whether the sample answers fit, appearance, material or production questions. Keep remaining issues explicit.
Identify inserts, marking, assembly or finish operations needed after molding. Confirm responsibility and final-state checks.
State ownership, changes, storage, maintenance and transfer needs where relevant. No standard package or fixed tool life is implied.
05 / ACCEPTANCE
A part can match a visual model and still leave fit or material questions unresolved. Agree methods, sample selection and records.
| Area | Agree | Connect to |
|---|---|---|
| Dimensions | Critical features, datums and measurement state. | Controlled part revision. |
| Assembly | Mating reference, movement and function. | Approved configuration and use scope. |
| Appearance | Color, texture, marks and viewing conditions. | Physical reference and visible faces. |
| Identity | Material, variant and delivery scope. | Requested records and sampling. |
06 / QUOTE INPUTS
Quantity, material, surface and evidence assumptions should remain visible alongside tooling price and repeat part price.
Send CAD, drawing, units and revision, grade, colors, sample and production quantities, destination and target milestones.
Ask for tooling, samples, setup, molding, secondary work, inspection, records and packaging to be distinguished where relevant.
Confirm ownership, change responsibility, approval dependencies, MOQ and schedule for the actual proposal. Do not infer universal capacity or certification.
07 / QUESTIONS
Keep grade, geometry and final acceptance together.
It starts the discussion, but exact grade, reinforcement, color, application and permitted alternatives should be resolved before approval.
The proposed tooling route and geometry need review. No universal mechanism or capacity is claimed.
Use it for direction, then agree a physical reference and viewing conditions for final acceptance.
No default all-feature or all-piece scope is promised. Agree features, quantities, methods and records.
Review its effect on processing, geometry, appearance and earlier evidence before accepting the revised configuration.
PREPARE THE NEXT DECISION
Include CAD and drawing, resin grade or application needs, mating geometry, visible faces, texture and color, quantities, sample checks and destination.
